I qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 1996 and after positions in mixed practice in Suffolk, Yorkshire and South Africa I came to Pets 1st in 2003. I am passionate about the variety of cases we see and enjoy all aspects of medicine and surgery. The 24hr service and the high level of equipment we hold means we can offer our patients the best of care onsite, around the clock. I perform acupuncture regularly to our chronic pain cases and enjoy cytology (looking at samples under the microscope).
I have 2 young children at Manorcroft Primary School where I regularly get roped in to do doing school talks. I live in Egham with my wife Charley (vet nurse) and own cats and keep some backyard chickens who keep us in good supplies of fresh eggs. If time permits I can usually be found running in Windsor Great Park or struggling round a golf course –I’m always open to a challenge from golfing clients!
