Scarlett Jackman

Hi, my name is Scarlett, I’m part of the reception team here at Pets 1st and I’ve worked here since May 2021.

I have always loved animals, so working here is the perfect job for me! No day is ever the same and it’s lovely to see a wide range of animals and breeds. I particularly love small animals and have always loved to have a chat with owners about their little fluffy friends.

I have 14 of my own pets at home which includes 6 chinchillas, 4 hamsters, 2 guinea pigs and my 2 miniature dachshunds Percy and Phoebe, they definitely keep me busy but they’re worth it! In the future I’d love to become a veterinary nurse and specialise in exotics and small mammals.
