My nursing career began after achieving an honours degree from Harper Adams University, in Animal Health. This sparked an interest in the welfare of all animals, indiscriminate of species or size. I became especially fond of British wildlife rehabilitation and spent four years working in a wildlife hospital.

Soon after, I realised becoming a registered veterinary nurse would enable me to make the biggest impact to the lives of all animals and so I soon spent some time in general practice and referral before starting my training at Pets 1st.

Four years later, and I am now an RVN. I enjoy all aspects of my job, but especially enjoy being able to use all that I have learned to help all and every animal that comes through the practices’ doors. If I’m not looking after the animals in the hospital you can find me caring for the plants around the practice, feeding the birds or tending to our wildlife friendly areas.
